How is June jewellery made?
June jewellery is designed by Anjali Maheshwari and hand made by skilled artisans in Mumbai, India. Since there are no machines involved, there is a lot of care and attention devoted to every piece of jewelry. We are dedicated to creating high quality and well finished designs.
What are the items used to make June jewellery?
We use a diverse range of gemstones, shell pearls, freshwater pearls, coloured stones, agates and beads that are carefully selected to make one of a kind statement jewellery.

What are Shell Pearls?
This new Pearl variety has gained a lot of press lately and is getting quite popular as an affordable option to real pearls. Shell Pearls are made from the inner lining of oyster shells, also known as Mother of Pearl. The substance is ground to a fine powder, shaped, dyed and coated with natural pearl nacre and then a protective coating to give it luster.
Authentic pearls are formed by molluscs when an irritant gets into the creature. It reacts by coating the irritant with layers of nacre, which eventually builds up and forms into a pearl.
Shell pearls, on the other hand, are created by humans using the inner lining of oyster shells, the substance known as Mother of Pearl. This makes shell pearls quite interesting because although they’re made by humans, they are made of the same materials as real pearls.
Unlike imitation pearls which contain glass or plastic, the base of shell pearls is nacre. Nacre (mother of pearls) is not a precious stone, but only an inner layer in a pearl shell. However, the composition of nacre is almost identical to pearls - strong, resilient, and iridescent. Nacre is collected then pulverized and combined with other materials to form pearls. The outer surface is then coated and polished to attain the luster that we associate with pearls.
Although the process is different, shell pearls, in essence, are quite similar to lab-created gemstones. They are available in a wide range of colors, from blue to pink to brown, yellow, green and many more. They can also be colored to imitate the neutral hues of Akoya pearls, the golden color of South Sea and the darker shades of Tahitian pearls.
Shell pearls provide an affordable alternative to authentic pearls. They are available in high quality and have a beautiful appearance. They also possess the quality of flexibility to be manufactured in many desired shapes, color, size and surface quality, creating the perfect pearl.
When you buy Shell Pearls you are making use of a part of the oyster shell that would otherwise go to waste. It’s a more sustainable option, as it allows for more Pearls to be made from a single oyster.

What is Limited Edition?
Our designs under the Limited Edition category are made only in a certain number due to the nature of the material used. Usually they are under five.
What metals do you use?
We use nickel free mix metal of durable quality. None of the metal we use is precious unless stated otherwise in the description of a design. Occasionally there might be few pieces which would have certain gold/silver plated elements.
How will my purchase be packaged?
Each order is packed in our brand pouch, perfect for gifting.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders received are processed within 24 hours. Orders are processed Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm IST, excluding holidays. Orders received during holidays or during non-business hours will be processed the following business day. You can expect to receive your order within 4-5 working days.

How can I track my order?
Shortly after your order has been placed and confirmed, you will receive a tracking number and link to the tracking information. Please note that information regarding tracking may not be immediately available until the shipment is in the possession of the carrier.

We try our best to be as helpful as possible. Please send your contact number with a brief reason/topic for assistance and we will call you.
Refunds and Returns
We do not accept refunds or returns. All sales are final.
We take great care in ensuring high quality standards for our products and that they reach you in good condition. We ask that you go over the product details and size-chart carefully before making a purchase. Exchange Policy
We replace items if they are defective/damaged. In such cases, our policy of free shipping will apply for the replacement. Send us an email at [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving your product(s) and our team will review your request and get back to you.
For any such exchange, we reserve the right to accept or decline your exchange request.

Product Care
Every June jewellery is made to be worn every day and on any occasion. This is why no extraordinary maintenance is needed, especially if it is delicately handled and cleaned. In order to preserve the shine of your jewellery, we recommend you to store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight or areas of intense heat. We strongly recommend that you store your jewellery in individual pouches or boxes to prevent scratching. You may use a soft dry cloth to occasionally clean the jewellery. No jewellery thrives on moisture, and might suffer from excessive contact with cosmetics or perfumes therefore removing your jewellery when applying lotion, creams or perfumes is recommended. We do not encourage wearing our products during activities such as swimming, showering and workouts.
